Great spot for some classic breakfast. This place is in the executive airport and is a staple in this neighborhood, so iykuk. The place is usually busy, especially on weekends, but I never had to wait. The service is nice and friendly, there are only 2 servers so they work really hard and do a good job. They have a straightforward menu but the one thing I recommend are the pancakes. These are delicious and could be the best in town and are a must. The omelets, skillets, and steak and eggs are all worth the price as this place is pretty reasonable. The pro tip that is not on the menu is the loco moco. You can get this hawaiian breakfast served with eggs, upgrade to fried rice, gravy, and a thick hamburger patty, which is delicious. This meal is a real treat! If you are looking for lunch options, my go-to is the burger as they use the same patty in the loco moco, and its pretty big. With great options, everything I have had has been very satisfying. If you love planes, and a classic diner feel, you will love Aviators!

Our service was great! We had a nice young lady as our waiter, she was sweet and attentive. We ordered the chicken fried steak and a meat lovers omelette. They were both good, nothing like a little salt and pepper for extra flavor. (Salty pallet )

Randomly found this on a good search and was pleasantly surprised. It's a restaurant on a private airfield. The decor has big scale model planes hanging from the roof and other airplane pieces all over. The menu is basic but top notch. Mostly an older crowd and a few families. You can't go wrong eating here.

This restaurant has a long history in Sacramento and was recently targeted for closure, but I guess they managed to save the lease at least for another year or two. Anyway, this was an unexpected pleasure. I have to say the decor is a little dated, but you don't eat the decorations. It's pretty standard breakfast fair, I had the skillet and my wife had the standard two egg breakfast but what I wanted to bring attention to was the biscuits and gravy. I asked the waitress and she said it was really good, of course she's going to say that, but she said it didn't have any sausage in it, but it had something that she didn't know what it was, but it was still good. I got one biscuit and on the side and I was really, really, happy with this. As the waitress said, I don't think it had any actual sausage in it but whatever the flavor was it was really good. The biscuit is super light and fluffy and the next time I'm in South Sacramento I am definitely gonna go back and get my favorite breakfast which is biscuits and gravy side of bacon a Diet Coke. pretty reasonable prices in today's world $35 for two of us plus a tip so I was very happy with it and recommend this completely if you're down by the airport down there and want to go in for a quick breakfast

So one of my friends told me to come here and support the owner if I could. I guess a few months ago he was going to lose his lease and hundreds of people came out to support him and the lease was renewed. This restaurant is inside the Executive Airport. It is like a museum of aviation. It has large model airplanes hanging from their ceilings. So nice looking and different. I took my buddy who was a pilot who said that this used to be a Red Baron steak house and it was the bomb in the 70's. Been through a few owners and the current one has been here for a long time. The place had a lot of people in it for breakfast time. It seems to be a meeting place for a lot of Asians. There was a men's group hanging out in the middle when I visited. They have a small seniors menu so I guess it's a good deal too. I got the meat lovers omelet and a waffle. the bacon was over cooked for me and was kind of hard. The waffle was good. The food is just ok. I don't think it's anything really mind blowing. Just decent. As for the ambiance they have that going for them. Who doesn't like watching planes at an airport. Be that it's a slow airport the view is nice. The model airplanes are really cook to see. They have a cockpit hanging over the salad bar. Pretty cool. I agree with the old guys . this is a nice place to hang out. The staff are really friendly and food is ok.

Why are they chasing Chick out?? The food is good. Diner style without the chain taste. The prices are WAAAY to cheap. VERY BUSY Sunday brunch. All the tables were filled. Wait staff dashing about. She did refill our coffee several times. Vintage vibe which is SO POPULAR now. Vintage clothing, vintage furniture-MCM, all the rage right now. I'm guessing the Airport Association that's trying to kick Chick out isn't aware. There could be more order with seating, ordering, etc. However, ladies out for brunch could care less. Eating, talking, enjoying our outing. We're not in a rush. We just want to take in the vibe inside & perhaps the off chance of a small plane landing
